Safe-T-Bear
How do you get children in kindergarten through second grade to learn fire safety? You educate and entertain them … with a fully animated video starring the Delaware Children's Fire Safety Foundation's Safe-T-Bear. Using NFPA fire escape principles from Lessons 1 and 2 of Risk Watch's Fire & Burn Prevention, Stonehouse Media and the Delaware Volunteer Firemen's Association helped teach young children (and their families) how to plan for and escape a fire. Stonehouse scripted and produced the 15-minute DVD. The program is designed so teachers can use the material in bite-sized chapters … or in its entirety.
