Case Study: Epilepsy in the Elderly
Stonehouse Media is using today's electronic technology to develop accredited education
programs for multiple audiences. In "Seizure Disorders in the Elderly," prepared
in cooperation with Advanstar Communications, Inc., doctors, nurses and pharmacists
can view specialized content areas, test themselves and even print out their own
CME certificates from a single program. The content was available online worldwide
to the three audiences 24 hours a day and on DVD. Designed to help practitioners
better diagnose and treat epilepsy in the elderly, the educational program can be
viewed in about one hour.
