Case Study: interFIRE VR
interFIRE VR is a Virtual Reality Fire investigation. After writing a story then creating and filming a real fire scenario, Stonehouse Media Incorporated® developed a distributable program that made it possible for users to examine the scene, collect evidence, interview witnesses and build a case, all in advance of preparing a report to a prosecutor if deemed arson. The program was distributed worldwide on CD ROM to raise the bar on fire investigation in every community that had an investigator and a computer. Today the program is mandatory at many colleges and universities.
